AxciScape Latest Program Changes
Version 4.07 - 24th October 2022
This is a quick update for 4.06 to address an issue with axciscape files not opening the app when double clicked.
Additionally, a new Colour field has been added which just lists the map colours on a drop-down menu and allows a selection. This can be used in place of any map settings which use colours.
Version 4.06 - 17th October 2022
Layer names can now include spaces.
Added Variables function for use in map settings and formulas (via the variable field).
Variables can be modified by text selection on multiselect field (such as tree name).
Auto zoom last map position on load database.
Added 3 optional sizes for list column header.
Added Variable display field.
Added Table field (a complex field for use in applications such as BNG ecology).
Added option to just use 1 field on row header title.
Nested Text Field now moves items correctly up or down and allows parent nest to be used with selected nest item.
Added copy/add formula line.
Added comment line on formula, result_text options, if text contains text option.
Added formula extra math rules, commands, removed 1st line mandatory limit.

Version 4.02 - 12th August 2021
The I/0 INTERFACE BUTTON has an optional dropdown shortcut menu (this can be disabled on the Options screen). This is intended to save time selecting frequently used commands when using AxciScape on a desktop.
A customizable FORM has been added to record site/surveyor details and perhaps a simple risk assessment. This can be selected from the Media Button.
The DXF MAP IMPORT attempts to find any dashed/dotted linetypes and represent them on the map screen (this can be disabled from the Map Settings).
Some Fields can now be PRE-FILLED with user data so when selecting a new entry (tree) they have data preloaded.
The MULTIPLE TEXT SELECT FIELD now has an option to disable its automatic sort so items wont be placed in alphabetical order.
FORMULAS will now automatically search for a value within a target Field item (so for example a field containing text such as Building Risk (5) will return the value 5.
A SCREEN READOUT displays the area/length of a selected object line or sketch line/circle (this can be disabled from the Map Settings).
The END/CENTRE snap settings are now saved (so they remember their settings when restarting Axciscape).
Changed the AUTOMATIC .bak file name (to avoid conflicts with autocad bak files using the same name).
Titles in the CHECKBOX FIELD can now have spaces.
MULTIPLE OBJECTS can now be exploded into individual objects.
DXF hatches/solids can be hidden on the map settings.
A check is now made that database files which are saved to disk actually contain data, with an alert if the process failed to write due to a disk error. This write failure seems to happen with some tablets when saving to an SD card or a full/protected hard drive.
A bug fix to prevent end/centre snap locking onto the object your moving.
A bug fixed in the dxf export as map.
Text mask added to dxf export.
Updated function to plot multiple objects equally along a defined line path.
Version 4.01 - 5th July 2020
This version is a follow up to v4.00 and contains a few urgent bug fixes (see below).
Bug Fixes:
Scale image using a user entered distance was scaling up by an additional factor of 1000 when using a map in mm.
Adding a Sketch rectangle when using a map in mm was not scaling by a 1000 correctly.
Changes:
Export Text Summary now has an option to show zero results in the tables.
Map Text Centralize option for Multiple Objects.
Version 4.00 - 14th Jun 2020
This version contains a large amount of code update to improve performance in many areas. Additionally, major additions have been made and changes to existing functions.
Subsequently, there may be teething issues so I would appreciate any feedback.
Added Grid line option.
Added sketch line function to allow lines/circles to be drawn.
Improved speed of importing/exporting text.
Improved speed of DXF file creation.
Improved speed of sort column.
Added Import Template option on splash screen,
Bold map lines option.
Added 3D cylinder map draw function (can not be exported to AutoCAD LT unless as a DXF).
Layer names now permit further characters.
Merge Fields option added on List Screen.
A sidebar holding the different menus is viewable on the map screen.
Annotation options allow for user text size definition and ability to hide leader/box.
Improved map screen move objects etc interface.
Changes to script & DXF export to set 2d polyline elevation to Z value of object (tree).

Sorry for all these recent updates. They are due to the discovery of bugs and also requests for additional features by users.
Added optional simple keyboard for use with text boxes. This is aimed at tablet users who may not wish to use the windows on-screen keyboard.
The circle map function can now handle multiple numbers (such as used with a diameter field). It will draw the circles either as concentric or as a tight randomly arranged cluster.
Export to CAD script now has its Lineweight set to ByLayer.
And Lineweight has been implemented for DXF CAD export.

Added image crop function to enable simple removal of unwanted parts.
Fixed bug on load database images when using cloud/changed folders.

List screen scroll bars replaced with custom design to solve issue where map scroll was moving list screen on some tablets.
CAD export script now unfreezes layers before writing to avoid script failure.
Fixed issue where rotated images were disappearing from view.
Fixed bug where the sliders (when using 3 screens) were becoming disordered.
Fixed issue of disappearing group lines when vertices were off screen.
