Migration from ArborCAD or ArborTrail
ArborCAD (produced by Chris Skellern and not the version by another company).
Existing ArborCAD users can load their schedules straight into AxciScape providing the BS5837 template is installed and its field names remain unchanged.
Some elements of ArborCAD are not supported such as TPO, Density, Bat Roost and user defined fields. Data for these will not be transferred but if you need these fields in AxciScape its a simple procedure to create them.
AxciScape does not 'connect' to AutoCAD in the same way ArborCAD did. There is no need to install custom toolbars or link it up for automation. AxciScape does not support Automation.
ArborTrail
AxciScape could be thought of as a combination of ArborCAD, ArborTrail and its Plan Builder.
AxciScape can not directly import any ArborTrail files although it will import the ArborTrail export file (when created for ArborCAD).
